Today was our Kick-off Assembly for Vacation Bible School! When that happens, you know summer is just around the corner. The time is spinning into the future! We have so much going on before then: First Communion, Confirmation, May Crowning, Field Day, Talent Show, kindergarten and eighth grade graduation – and that’s not all!
Today is also Mrs. Bresnahan's last day. She will have her baby on April 14 - if not sooner!! Please keep her in your prayers.
Tuesday is the Elementary School Math Festival at St. Dominic High School. Eighteen of our Middle School students will be attending. We wish them luck!
Wednesday our second graders will be joined by their PSR friends to spend a “Quiet Day” in preparation for their First Communion which is on Saturday, April 18. They are well prepared and so excited about receiving Jesus for the first time. They are not reticent to show their love for Jesus!
Our next blood drive is on April 21 at the K.C. Hall from 3:00-7:00p.m. They promise to have enough bags this time and will have more personnel. As last time, if we have at least 20 donors St. Theodore School will receive $250. If we have more than that we will also receive one dollar for every donor. In spite of turning so many away last time we still received $292. Thank you so much! I hope we have an even greater turn-out this time! We used most of the money from the last drive to purchase supplemental instructional materials for the kindergarten classroom. Our next goal is to get supplemental geography material for other grade levels as money allows.
The pictures below are of our sixth graders at Camp Wyman. The other two groups are our Math Club Teams who participated in the regional Math Meet at ICOM before Easter! I can't seem to get the pictures all in a row:(
Have a safe and blessed week-end!
